Our program will encourage your teen to seek God’s will for their life. We believe that God has a purpose for everyone and finding that purpose is what brings healing to these broken-hearted teen girls. Jesus is the answer for the soul that is searching.
Our program is individualized to meet the needs of every resident. If your teen is failing school, skipping classes or has learning difficulties, our academy can help get them back on track. Your teen can earn a High School diploma at our academy.
Active Student Life
It is important for a teen’s life to be balanced. We provide many activities for the girls to enjoy such as games, recreation, horseback riding, swimming, volleyball or enjoying a movie. We also visit churches to sing and share our testimonies.
Therapeutic Boarding School for Girls
Wings of Faith is a low cost therapeutic boarding school for struggling teen girls, ages 8-17. If your teen girl is deceitful, struggling with authority, running away, coming home late, sexually promiscuous, experimenting with alcohol or drugs, failing school, or has been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Hyperactivity Deficit Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, or depression, our boarding school for girls can help. Typical boarding schools tend to expel misbehaving girls, but we welcome them and work with them to change their behaviors. Our boarding school offers a well-balanced therapeutic program to help each girl get back on track spiritually, behaviorally and academically.
BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION: It is important for teens to learn coping skills, character, self discipline, personal accountability and good habits. Our therapeutic program offers a structured environment and counseling where at risk teen girls get the help they need. We provide an environment that helps teens see their issues and decide to make positive changes in their lives. Our methods have been turning teen girls around for many years. Our school is a member of the Missouri Association of Christian Child Care Agencies (MACCCA)
ACADEMICS: Yes, your teen can get caught up and excel in academics at Wings of Faith. We also have college preparatory studies and our curriculum is accredited. We use the School of Tomorrow curriculum which uses a PACE program. This gives the teens an opportunity to catch up on credits they have missed or failed. The curriculum is individualized to the needs of each student.
SPIRITUAL EMPHASIS: All girls in our therapeutic boarding school learn Biblical principles that deal with many different teen issues. Chapel is also a very important part of our program. We invite multiple speakers to visit our school and help conduct our chapel services. Many of these are national speakers who have been helping teens for many years. When a teen finds her faith again and surrenders her life to Christ, it is amazing to see the miracles that take place and the changes that the teens make. True healing comes from a change in heart and a relationship with Jesus Christ.
If your teenage girl is defiant, rebellious, out of control or struggling in other areas described above, our program can help. Fill out our boarding school inquiry form below and an admissions counselor will contact you. If our school can not help, we can provide you with resources on other therapeutic boarding schools for your teen.
What Others Say About Our Boarding School for Girls
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart ! If you EVER need me to talk to any parents considering sending their daughters to you, PLEASE give them my phone number, I would be delighted to recommend you without any restrictions whatsoever. May God bless ALL of you!!!!!!”
-Mr. & Mrs. J. (Parent)
“I walked in as nothing but a rebellious teenager, and now I’m leaving as a young lady with a productive plan for my life. I was born and raised in Oakland, California, but I am going to attend Pensacola Christian College at Pensacola, Florida and am going to major in nursing. Wow, who would’ve thought I’d go to college all the way across the country! The Lord has something big and great for me just waiting out there. I just know it! But really, I could NOT have made it this far without God, who has given me countless chances, my wonderful loving parents for their sacrificies, Brother Bud and Miss Debbie for establishing this school/home under God, and the amazing staff and the girls here. I just want to thank and praise the LORD for saving me and my soul! ‘In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and he heard me.’ Psalm 120:1″
